"Genius" was created December 14th, 2002, by me, Mystic Blossom. I got the idea for it when I was writing. Sometimes, when I write, I'll write a passage, a sentence, or a quote that I think just sounds really good. it's at that point that I'll proclaim to myself that I'm a genius. Truthfully, I may be smart, but I'm far from being a genius. this clique is for all those people who wish they were smart enough to be geniuses, or who know they're geniuses (but nobody else does). I suppose a real genius could join, but geniuses tend not to be able to understand the humor in this. XD

The current layout features Calvin and Hobbes, the title characters of a comic strip by Bill Watterson. I chose them because Calvin, the little screaming boy, is a six-year-old genius. Although it's very hard to tell, because he engages in such activities as G.R.O.S.S (the Get Rid Of Slimy Girls Club). Maybe Calvin isn't pure genius, but he'd like to think he is. I'm sure a lot of us do. Bill Watterson has since retired the comic strip, but if for some odd reason you've never read it, I suggest you do. It's absolutely hilarious.
